Kim, I just visited Mary's blog. I had to laugh at the part of her interview with you that said "you would be surprised at what you can accomplish if you give up housework". Ha, I can totally relate, how do you think I get so much sewing done. I eventually do clean, but I would rather sew. Have a great weekend, I'm enjoying the book tour.

Ha, ha I have to agree with Carol, your comment about giving up housework made me laugh :-) But then again, we sure could accomplish so much more if we....... oh well, never mind. ;-D

Kim, I just had to stop by and tell you thank you so much for sharing your time and talents with us all. I adore every single quilt in this book. I have to admit that the Paddle Wheel Mary is working on had really caught my eye. I don't have any jelly rolls but strips are easy enough to cut, even for me...so I am going to HAVE to buy your new book if I'm not a lucky winner. Last year was a bust for me as far a quilting due to health issue and I am ready to get some sewing time in now. Your designs are just what I'm looking for to have a more productive year in 2011. Thanks again and thanks too for the blog tour...these are always so fun. Hugs...

Giving up housework huh? I figure cleaning is like shoveling snow before it stops snowing and my time is better spent sewing! Well, with a major clean-up day of course...the sewing room does get a bit messy after each project ya know!

I highly recommend giving up housework! After a back injury, I treated myself to a cleaning lady every 2 weeks and now I can't live without her. In December this year I'm going to give up going to work and I bet quilts will just come flyin' out of my sewing room.
