Sweet Surprise

Can you imagine how exciting it was to open the mail I received recently from Stephanie?

Stephanie is the Queen of All Things Dresden.  And the Queen of a Few Other Things.  Like bags.  Have you seen her bag patterns?  You can order them from Connecting Threads, or from Loft Creations' Etsy Shop.  You can even download some of them in .pdf format if you don't want to wait for the mail.  If you haven't visited Stephanie's blog, go on over and say hello.  And if you run into Abby, give her a pat from me.  You know how much I love me some cats, but I'd love to share custody of this D-O-G.  (Sorry -- habit.  We usually spell that word when the cats are around.)

Don't you love the blue and green Amy Butler fabrics?  I've been in a blue and green mood for a while now, and I'm really enjoying this quilt.  Thanks so much, Stephanie!  The quilt is incredible -- I love everything about it.

Have a super weekend!

Kim

Wonder if she cut those dresdens with the GO! she won from me last year? I'll have to pop over and ask her.

How very nice of Stephanie. She is one generous quilter and yes, she has made some pretty dresden plate blocks.

I do like the fabrics Stephanie used. I don't have fabrics like that and did not like that style when I first started seeing them on the market. I have grown to like them but have not purchased any as I need to use some of my large stash. I will enjoy seeing what others make with them.
