I'm a little late arriving to the blogging party, and I'm amazed by the wonderful things I've seen and read. The Blogger Reading List is the coolest thing since the rotary cutter. It's like having my favorite quilting magazine delivered to me every day! I can't wait to get home from work to see what everyone is doing, sewing, and chatting about.
As promised, I'll be giving away a copy of my new book, Scrap-Basket Surprises, published by Martingale & Company. Just leave a comment to enter. Just any old comment will do, but it would be great if you could tell a little something interesting about yourself. (Now would be a good time to come clean about how many UFOs you're "working on," or tell about your favorite fabric hiding places!) If you mention the give-away on your blog, you'll be entered twice. Come back Monday afternoon to see if your confession was worthwhile!
Enter me twice! I've posted about your new book even if it whittles away my chances of winning...
ReplyDeleteSomething about me....traveled and have lived in other countries due to husband's military career. Quilting has been a passion for many years and I consider a wonderful stress reliever.
I just happened across your blog and I would love to be entered in your give-away for your scrap-basket surprises book. I usually "hide" new fabric in plain sight. My DH has no idea what's in my sewing room and I'm going to keep it that way.
ReplyDeleteWhat a awesome blog you have. Quilting is my passion and I must sew, stitch or play with fabric somehow everyday to get my fix. I don't hide my fabric and my room is over flowing. Thanks for a fantastic giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI came over from Quilt Hollow and have enjoyed looking at your blog. I would love to be included in the give-away! I have a scrap basket 3 feet deep, so that is one book that would be put to good use! I mostly take on small projects -- totes and the like. Feel free to visit me at:

What a great blog! I just found you today thanks to Quilt Hollow. I discovered quilting 15 years ago and haven't stopped "collecting" since. Some of my UFO's are almost as old as my hobby!

I posted a shout out on my blog, so could you add my name a second time? Thank you! - Suzanne

Please enter me....Mary at Quilt Hollow sent me! Something about me....I used to own a quilt shop...briefly....it can wear a person out pretty quickly but I met some of the nicest people, many that have become lifelong friends. But that also means I have a large stash that I need to get rid of. You're book sure would help (hint, hint)
ReplyDeleteI am recently "empty nest" and the urge to get back to quilting is strong. I don't have a big stash since I was focused in a different direction for the last 13 years. I have come to really like the scrappy look and would like to explore that. Your book looks excellent and I would enjoy winning a copy.
ReplyDeleteYour book looks like something I could use in lowering my stash level. Interesting about me - adjusting to retirement was never a problem due to my quilting addiction!
ReplyDeleteI love the cover quilt. I hope the rest of the quilts inside are just as fabulous. I hate to reveal this, but I have more than 30 UFO's. This has been dubbed my year to finish things - I have a goal of 10.
ReplyDeleteMary sure have sent a lot of us over....And Im glad she did ..so we all could find your wonderful blog... :o)
ReplyDeleteIm Stina from the north of Sweden.. and I dont have UFO at all... lol..do you believe me.. Please Dont!! And I dont want to count them either...:o)
And my best hiding place for new fabrics... is in my laundry basket... never ever a look is in that one.... accept for me...:o)
I just love scarappy quilts.. I really have trouble using the same fabric twice!!! Good luck to all..I will add your giveaway to my sidebar!!! Right now..:o)
Hi! I would love to win your book. . .because I certainly have enough fabric at home to make probably every design in it! he he he
ReplyDeleteI don't have to hide fabric. . .my DH is very willing to have me buy fabric since it is my only "money" vice. . .but it also allows him access to fabrics that he would not have picked for his own stash!! he he
Just found your blog via Quilt Hollow's give away link and I've added it to my Favorites. I can tell from the Sneak Peak pictures of the quilts in your new book that this book is right up my alley. I am a scrap quilter through and through and have bins and drawers of pre-cut strips and squares just waiting to be used in a quilt. My favorite fabrics to work with are batiks, but I have a healthy stash of homespuns and quilting cotton fabrics as well. I don't have a blog, but spend plenty of time reading everyone else's LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Laura in AZ
No blog, but love reading- too many. Some wants to be entered twice but I want to be the winner of your book. Thanks from Louise D
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore scrap quilts. With the help of your book, I think my strip collection could finally be put to good use.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a great book.
Audrey B
The book looks wonderful
ReplyDeleteI love making scrap quilts and I know I would enjoy making a few of the quilts in this book.
GOOD LUCK with the launch of your new book.
Thanks!
Kathie
I would really love your book, those are my kind of quilts! Thanks to Quilt Hollow for showing me the way to your blog. I am so glad I came by. I am also having a give-a-way so stop by if you would like and sign up!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be entered in your giveaway for your new Scrap book. Mention scraps and I'm hooked-- they are the BEST quilts. And I love the colors you've used. Just my type of fabrics. I work with donation quilts for our guild and we're just starting a QOV group, also. I found you through Quilt Hollow.

Hi, it is me again. I have your give-a-way on my blog now! I hope I win, I hope I win!!
ReplyDelete(Here via Cornfield Quilter:) UFOs. Hmm...pretty much my entire summer wardrobe?
ReplyDeleteHi. I've been quilting for 10 yrs. and have about 16 UFO's. :) I really like the quilt on the cover of your book--very attractive. I got here from Quilthollow's blog and I get to her blog from Quiltville's blog. This is fun, isn't it? Juanita
ReplyDeleteCornfield quilter sent me over to check out your blog. I am trying never to have more than one UFO for every month of the year. That seems like more than enough to keep any sane person busy all the time.
ReplyDeleteHi! I read about your book on Cornfield Quilter. I so WANT this book. I'm hoping it's in my LQS.
ReplyDeleteI too love blogging. It's added a whole other dimension to my quilting. I love fabric, cutting fabric, sewing fabric and cuddling under quilted fabric.
Off to read your other blog posts!
Many thanks!
I came over from Cornfield Quilter. I'm learning to like scrap quilts and want more resources to learn how to do it (I'm very stuck in planning everything out). Please enter me in your give away!

I heard about your giveaway over at Cornfield quilters...this looks like a nice book. Please enter me! I will post about it also.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great reading all the blogs! The Cornfield quilter sent me here. I am working on 4 UFO's now. When I get tired of one, I'll go to the other....
ReplyDeleteI came over from Jean's Page. I don't think you want to hear about all of my UFO's but check out my blog if you want to see a lot of quilts. I have been using 2.5" strips a lot lately with Thangles. I'm mostly into batiks these days (been quilting 51 years) but have lots of other fabric too. I would love a copy of your new book, always looking for ideas for my bins of 2.5" strips. Good luck with it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful giveaway! I love making quilts from scraps.
ReplyDeleteI came over from Jean's page too -- the UFO's? I'm not fessing up to those! I love making scrappy quilts most and working with small pieces. I would love a copy of your book!
ReplyDeleteOh I have just found your blog and will be looking at it alot now. I love your new book and would love to win it. I have put your logo on my blog to spread the word. http://quilthollow.blogspot.com/ sent me over to enter your giveaway. I am in Australia and love patchwork and stitching and have been sewing for as long as I remember..even tho the first lot of sewing things were for my Barbie doll!
ReplyDeleteyour book looks interesting. Congratulations on getting published.
ReplyDeleteQuilt Hollow sent me. Does that mean if my name is chosen I need to share with her? Not that I don't mind sharing, I just need to know. Thanks for the opportunity. Take care, and good luck to all.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...quite a few coming from Carol (Cornfield Quilter), but I actually haven't had a chance to read her latest post yet; instead I came over from Angela (Scraphappy) (SORRY CAROL)!
ReplyDeleteBut.......you stated:
It's like having my favorite quilting magazine delivered to me every day! I can't wait to get home from work to see what everyone is doing, sewing, and chatting about.I hadn't ever thought of it that way before, but you SURE are right! And I love give-aways, because EVERYONE posts about giveaways and these blog addy's start coming out of the woodwork! I've enjoyed sifting through your latest posts.....lovely, lovely, lovely!
Thankfully some of us are involved in a "UFO Challenge" where we attempt to finish of a UFO monthly. I've done okay having completed a UFO for January, March and April. (My February challenge is a STITCH in my side and it'll remain sitting for a long time yet...)
As for hiding places for fabric:.....oooooh! Not a good thing to admit, but I have a box here, a box there, a couple-too-many other boxes everywhere, a basket here, a basket there.....(you get my drift??) all with donated fabric from my mother's garage-sale and auction finds. (I LOVE her dearly for all her generosity!) I, in return, attempt to find time to make quilts to donate to the church.....
I'm excited for the opportunity to win your book; I have become a full-fledged scrap-quilter. They are so colorful, creative, and resourceful!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
I would love to win your new book. I love to work with strips.
ReplyDeleteI just happened across your blog and I would love to be entered in your give-away for your scrap-basket surprises book. I usually "hide" new fabric in the cupboard in my sewing room. My DH has no idea what's in my sewing room and I'm sure he wouldn't mind..."a happy wife is a happy home"...giggle!
ReplyDeleteJulia ♥
I would love to be entered in your giveaway! Quilt Hollow sent me over to your awesome blog! I am a fabric shopaholic, and I honestly have far too many UFO's to admit to:) My most recent post/UFO is a charm quilt top made with Soiree that I'm loving... I hide all of my purchases in my finished basement, in my Ikea cabinets that I love.
ReplyDeleteI haven't given in to my desire to buy books for soooo long! This would be a great win! I just painted my sewing room and am trying to organize everything before bringing things back in...maybe I'll even purge stuff I won't ever use, but I'm such a pack rat, it's very difficult! I have a tub of scrap pieces and every month I enter a block lotto to use some of them up...they multiply into smaller pieces mostly :) I'd love to read this book and glean ideas for more scrap quilts.
ReplyDeleteJean sent me as well.....This is the year of Stash-busting for me so your new book is right up my alley. I am currently working to standardize my scraps (using Bonnie Hunter's) ideas and am enjoying making scrap quilts along the way. UFO'S???? Not only do I have my own, but my 85 year old mother has started sending me hers as well!!!!
ReplyDeleteFrances

I've actually never quilted, but I sew clothes for myself and for my daughter. I would love to get some inspiration for using up all of my scraps.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome thing for you, to have a book published. That is totally amazing. Of Course, I would love to win it but if not, where can I get it?
ReplyDeleteI live in American Samoa, only a year and a half left here. REally love it. I love to quilt and just love the whole process of sewing. I enjoy my blogging friends and will definetely have a grand time coming to your blog because obviuosly you have some awesome ideas.
Mary at Quilt Hollow sent me over to check out your new book. I am almost finished quilting my nieces graduation quilt. I am a handquilter with a rather large scrap basket that definitely needs your book!!! Your blog is lovely and has some very interesting quilts.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
I love the Title of your book and pleas count me in for this wonderful give away. I love to quilt and it is also my job...I am a longarm machine quilter. I quilt everday, 7 days a week.
ReplyDeleteI love to make Scrap Quilts and 2.5" strips are my favorite size strips. I will have one day a month cutting strips. My favorite place to hide my fabric is under my bed. You realy want to know how many UFOs I have...too many to count.
Mary send me over to your blog and I am so happy she did.
So far, I'm lucky. My husband doesn't ask questions when I buy fabric.
ReplyDeleterssgrandinetti(at)yahoo(dot)com
Jean sent me this direction, and I'm doing my part with a mention of your book giveaway on my blog too. I hope I win. We just can't have too many books, and the quilt on the cover looks like it would be my first project. It's lovely.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a hunter and outdoor enthusiast. I don't question his purchases, and he doesn't question mine, and we live in harmony.
I would love to win your new book. I really enjoy your blog and saw your draw posted on Quilt Hollow. Please keep sharing your ideas! They are wonderful inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the quilt on the cover. Where do I stash my fabric. Anywhere I can. I mostly keep it in my sewing room in tubs. Hubby has no idea when I purshase and how much I have. I do need to take a break and sew up what I have. I hope I win.
ReplyDeleteI love scrap quilts! And I'm always looking for new ways to use my scraps, your book would be so nice to have as a help.
ReplyDeleteLotta in Sweden
Hi. I got here from Quilthollow's blog and have enjoyed reading yours. It's now added to my bookmarks so I can remember to come back every day. Your book looks great and I'd love to win, but just in case I don't, it's now on my Amazon wish list. I am new to scrap quilting, although I've been making quilts for about 8 years, and I got here by trying one jelly roll, loving the effect, then using another, and another.........until finally I had the courage to really use scraps of my own.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be in your giveaway! I hide all my scraps in a large plastic storage container and keep it in my storage closet where all my sewing supplies are.
ReplyDeleteMicki
The book looks great. I don´t hide fabs, I hide UFO´s,just so that I cannot find them myself.
ReplyDeleteI live in Texas and will retire in December!! Cornfield quilter sent me here. I love scrap quilts and would love to win your book. Please add me to the drawing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win the boook. I dont hide my fabric, in fact I think I do the opposite. My husband has commented how sewing things seem to be in nearly every room in the house!!!
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog from Quilt Hollow. The book looks great and I definitely have a basket of scraps to use up. Thanks
Teresa / IL
Found your site through Cornfield Quilter, and glad I did. Since my stash contains a "few" strip bundles I could really use your new book for ideas and inspiration! Thank you for such a wonderful giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great give away. Very generous of you. I love scrappy. I have been making quilts for 5 years. I love love love it.
ReplyDeleteI would SO love to win this new book because scrap quilts are my all time favorites! Nothing makes me happier than using as many fabrics as possible when I make a quilt! Hope I'm lucky~!
ReplyDeletewhat a great blog! I love jelly rolls, love to play with them, My children ( 4,7) are the best source of inspiration for me. They give me power to create and find my own place in the quilter world.
ReplyDeleteI'll post you on my blog for 2 chances.
ReplyDeleteThe secret to a happy quilter is to use every scrap to make something for someone else.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the quilt on the book cover! I can just imagine how beautiful the other ones inside are.

I was sent here by Hloee. She knows I love scrappy. Thanks MBQ for the chance to win your book. I would love to see the Bali Sea Stars quilt that you've given a peek of. If this pattern featured in your book? I really don't have many UFO's I usually finish most things I start but I do have tons of things I've on my to do list I have yet to start. I'm not sure about the interesting part. In my eyes I'm pretty much a plain Jane, named Donna. My biggest love is quilting but I do like to make just about any and everything sewing related, with the exception of mending.
ReplyDeleteI get my of my inspiration from others in the blogging world.
I have so many scraps, so I think this book would really help me eliminate this
ReplyDeleteThanks for having this giveaway and I would love to be the recipient. Love your blog too
ReplyDeleteDarlene
Ciao
ReplyDeleteThe book looks wonderful.
What a great give away
Laura
I would love to win that book!
ReplyDeleteHello hello! Holee sent me over. I'll also link to you on my blog.
ReplyDeleteNow... a confession? I am currently "working on" two quilts and have another one that I've sort of started. Not too bad, I guess.
I really want to win that book so I can start another UFO and catch up with everyone else. ☺
Love your blog and your book - what a terrific giveaway. I would be thrilled to win!
ReplyDeleteHello! This book looks great. I am one of those people who loves scraps and bits and can never throw anything away, so this is perfect. I also like the cat on your blog. If I don't win the book I would like to win the cat!
ReplyDeleteShogun
I hope to win your giveaway. Thanks so much for a wonderful prize. Quilting is such a joy for me!!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog by way of SoScrappy. I would love towin a copy of your new book and will probably purchase one if I don't win.
ReplyDeleteI love scrappy quilts and could definetly find some inspiration in your book. I get bored doing the same blocks, so like the surprise of doing scrap quilts. I found you by way of Holee. I have about 5 WIPs, and about 5 more I want to start. I am doing a scraps to treasures challenges on a quilting board, and can use all the help I can get.

It is lovely to discover your blog Kim- I think tha have seen your book advertised (possibly in Connecting Threads)- How exciting that must be for you.
ReplyDeleteI have about half dozen UFOs happening I think- I don't like to have too many projects on the go - I find it crazy making...VBG However I do collect fabric and the stash is indeed fair sized.. There are so many beautiful fabrics out there.
I would love to win your book - maybe I will be the lucky one but if not someone will indeed be fortunate.
Regards from a Western Canadian Quilter,
Anna
I love using every bit of fabric that I can, so I end up with lots of bags of scraps to use later...
ReplyDeleteI'm posting a link to my blog
Hi, Mary at Quilt Hollow sent me over here. I have seen the coming book poster at my local shop (great bathroom reading - always fun when a customer pulls you into the loo to show you what book she is looking for). I work at a great quilt shop, The Attic Window Quilt Shoppe in Wenatchee, WA. We have just started a UFO Club and your blog has reminded me that I need to write up my list of UFOs and what their status is. Hope I have enough paper available to complete my list.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win your book but if not, look forward to seeing it come in a future shipment.
I love scrap quilts and I am the happy owner of a Jelly Roll.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I would love to win your book!
:o)
(I don't own a single UFO, I only have umpfteen WISP's)
;o)
Hi, that book looks GREAT! I have like 9 WISPs/UFOs. I also have 10 tops awaiting quilting on my Tin Lizzie this summer as soon as school is out. I teach kindergarten and make only slow progress during the school year, but I make up for it by being a blur during the summer. Plus, with our younger son/his fiancee getting married this August, it should be a fun summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win your book. I found you from Cornfield Quilter's blog. I've been sewing ever since I was a little girl...& had the best dressed dollies of all my friends! I'm retired (retarded is what I call it), have 3 grown kids, & 4 grandkids, 3 spoiled cats are my quilting inspectors. My sewing room is the best room in the house, always a mess with many UFO'S...but I love it!
ReplyDeleteI just posted your giveaway on my blog.....amd now an avid follower of yours. thanks!
ReplyDeletehttp://quilthollow.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeletethis is where I found out about you!!
and I don't normally enter for give-aways and such, but I liked the cover of the book, so I had to come and 'see' you!
I am someone who loves books, loves to start things and just enjoys seeing what other people are up to!!
have fun with your give-away and good luck with your book. I am going to go look at it again. All the best - Brenda
Oh please enter me in your drawing! I really enjoy making scrap quilts, mostly because I don't like having to plan out how much fabric I need. The quilt on your cover looks fantastic! I came here from ScrapHappy's blog.
ReplyDeleteI am quilting a scrappy string quilt now and today is my day to find inspiration for my next quilt (or maybe I should wait until I WIN your cool book).
ReplyDeleteI will link you up on my blog too. I was sent over by SewMeow's blog post :)
I would love to win your book, I always go back to scrap quilts. There is just nothing like them, any style of fabrics, 30's, T-berries, civil war, batiks, etc. Dori
ReplyDeleteI can't come clean as I have no IDEA how many UFO's I have. It's SCARY!! HA! But I am working on a LITTLE stash-busting and I think your book would help! LOL Thanks for the giveaway..hope I WIN!
ReplyDeleteI've been quilting for 28 years so please don't ask me how many UFOs or WIP I have. I couldn't count them all. I don't hide fabric but I do hide my fabric from the light. The fabric is on the shelves and I have heavy 'blackout' type curtains so I don't have to worry about fading. I would love a chance to win your book.
ReplyDeleteI've only just started quilting, but I love it! My husband bought me a jellyroll, but I have no idea what to make from it. So your book would sure come in handy!
ReplyDeleteJittina
I found your site from Quilt Hollow. I have about 30 projects that are individually bagged. I do work through them just very slowly! Your book looks great, i love patterns that use jelly rolls since I can't find alot of time to sew. Would love to be in the drawing for it!!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog..and I'd love to win your book, of course! I'm in the newly obsessed about quilting stage right now and have a few jelly rolls to sew...just bought a Bernina yesterday so I can hardly wait to get started!
ReplyDeleteYou dont really want me to reveal how many ufo's please. Too many and the pile is getting no smaller, in fact I am sure it is growing. Thanks for the chance of winning your book.
ReplyDeleteLove your page. Would love to win your book. Vivian sent me. I have way too many ufo's, but always room for one more.
ReplyDeleteI would absolutely love a copy of your new book ~ I love playing with my scraps!
ReplyDeleteI cannot bear to get rid of scraps...would love to try ou the new book!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't even dare to count my UFO's - it would be too demoralizing. But at least in the double digits... Would love to win your book! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new book! I have developed a new addiction...Moda scrap bags...and I need a use for all those strips!
ReplyDeleteJust learned about your blog and new book from Quilt Hollow. The book looks great! One of my UFO's is Trade Winds, made from Bali Pops.
ReplyDeleteThe book looks like it would be great! I love scrappy quilts. Thanks for the chance to win a copy. Something about me...I started quilting around 1997, kept taking breaks from it (silly me, I went and had 2 kids!), but now I'm slowly trying to get back to it. Add me to the "You don't want to know how many UFO's I have" list. Definately in the double-digits. I think I've only completed 7 quilts (nothing bigger than a baby/lap quilt) in that time, so you get the idea! But quilting is definitely my passion.
ReplyDeleteYour book looks excellent - please count me in for your giveaway! I love to make scrap quilts. How many UFO's? about 6.
ReplyDeleteI got here from the FabricsnQuilts blog. (Thanks, Shannon!) I haven't had much chance to look around, but I love your blog so far! I took a regular quilting class years ago, but I've been doing rag quilts in the past few years. Now I'm beginning to combine regular and rag quilting in one creation. It's lots of fun. Your book looks like it's full of inspiration for even more projects.
ReplyDeleteI'm promoting your blog on mine and will be a faithful follower.
www.grandma-barbara.blogspot.com
I would love to be entered in your giveaway drawing.
ReplyDeleteAs for my UFOs - I guess if I don't know the exact count it doesn't seem as bad. And no need for me to hide fabric ... my pup doesn't mind at all if I bring fabric purchases home. I just can't forget the dog food. LOL
I came over from Grandma's and didn't know you existed. My UFO of longest duration was 10 years of crocheted granny squares that wanted to end up being a throw but instead they went to the thrift store so someone more ambitious could make something.

Great blog, please enter me in the drawing for your book. I love scrap quilts.
ReplyDeletePlease enter me - I have scraps that need taming....
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI would love to be the winner of your great Giveaway. I like to use scraps, and I have more than enough! My stash is in boxes and shelves, and I really need to decrease it.

Please enter my name! Something interesting about me--nothing really. I will tell you though that I have a very large tote of scraps that I need to use up!
ReplyDeleteBiddy22 sent me your way! Who does'nt have scraps. Would love to be challenged with your book to use my stash. Will even share with my daughter, who has quilted more than I.
ReplyDeleteHave a great "quilting" day!

Hi, I found you by way of Quilt Hollow but will be checking out your blog routinely now since I have added it to my favorites. Please enter me in your drawing.
ReplyDeleteJust one entry for me please. I'm really really trying to reduce my stash have four quilts on the go and not telling how many ufo's are hiding throughout the house. Your book would be welcome to help me because it looks great.
ReplyDeletelaura84watt@gmail.com
I really enjoyed looking at your blog. The quilts you have on here are very lovely. I really like the thread dividers in your desk drawer, the cut up yard sticks. They are perfect idea. ~Leah
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your book. I browsed Martingale for the galllery and your photos gained my interest for the book. I have about 15 -18 UFO's in the making. I try not to buy fabric now and use from my stash. I do not own any jelly rolls but the stash can be cut to make one of your quilts! I love stash quilts!
ReplyDeletePlease enter my name in the drawing. Thanks!
Please enter me in your drawing for this great book. I'm Carol and I live in Glendale AZ. I just spent that last few days doing lots of quilting. I have a Grace frame and had my Janome on the frame. I quilted 5 table toppers, one lap size quilt and one twin size quilt.
ReplyDeleteI come by way of Quilt Hollow through Quiltville. What fun all these blogs are to read. I have been quilting for about six years, have a tub full of UFO's and enough stash on hand for at least 32 twin size quilts and a couple of queen size. I would love to win a copy of your new book," SCRAP-BASKET SURPRISES". My scraps are in a closed closet multiplying faster than rabbits and any new purchases come into the house in grocery bags.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win your book, I love scrap quilts and can one have to many books or UFO's for that matter.. I am sure I have more than 20 if I ever started counting them I would get distracted from what I am working on and then I would have one more to count. Do you know what I mean about getting distracted....well so much for confessions......as long as I am still loving quilting I will keep trying to get those UFO's done. I just love the process...
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a beautiful book. I would love to win it so that I can make some quilts from it. Thank you for the opportunity to win it. Take care and God bless, Cory
ReplyDeleteYour book looks wonderful! THanks for the giveaway! I'm just getting back into quilting after a very long break. I have lots of odds and ends old project to finish as well as many new ones in progress and even more I can't wait to start!
ReplyDeleteI found you because of Mary at Quilt Hollow. I ~wish~ I had hiding places for my fabric since I'm messing it up constantly. I'd love to win.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance.
Lucy in IN
I would love to be added to the drawing! Today I quilted, bound, washed and dried a table topper - the first time I've ever managed to do all that in a single day! Yay me!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me. I know last minute and all. I somehow manage to quilt with my two little ones, but am currently making a quilt for my son, an apron for my mom, bib & burpcloth sets for my sister-in-law, and have a million projects still in my head. :P
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful it would be to win your giveaway. I am constantly looking for inspiring designs to help reduce my scrap basket. But it seems like it's always running over the brims in what ever container I'll try to store them in. Love to check out this book!
ReplyDeleteJane
Oh, I wanted to let you know I posted about your giveaway in my blog and have a link posted back here.
ReplyDeleteBut more importantly I was led here by http://cornfieldquilter-carol.blogspot.com/. While responding to a person leaving a comment on my blog I noticed another comment left by this quilter and it linked to the Cornfield quilter which linked to you. It's a small world after all. (best when sung in tune with the disney lyrics.)
