So did you visit Sinta? If you did, you know that she made the first sample quilt for
Fat Quarter Shop's Scrap-Basket Sensations Quilt Club using the pattern for Picnic along with Hometown fabrics by Sweetwater. What you may not know is that Kimberly enjoyed your sweet comments and has decided to give away five more copies of the book!
The drawing will be on June 1, so scoot on over if you haven't entered.
I spent a little time in my playroom this weekend working with my bag of strings.
And trimming a few triangles.
Hope you all have a wonderful week!
Kim

Looks like you had some fun playing in your fabrics!
It looks like fun to me. I am prepping for another Scrap Basket quilt, this one for my husband. The other day he said, "You never make a quilt for me." And you know what? He is right. Never. 18 years. That is SO bad.
Anyway, there are two times coming up when he is going out of town for a while. Good quilting time. He will have a surprise when he gets back. Scrap Basket style.
Scrap Basket Sensations is one popular book!!! Love your scrap basket of goodness. Can't wait to see what you're up to.
I did visit Sinta - how wonderful! Can't wait to see what all those triangles turn themselves into, Kim!
Cheers!
That's a fantastic club using the book. You've got some interesting sewing ahead of you.
I just started some string blocks for a Quiltsville. They are so much fine. Your triangles look so perfect.
Scrap-basket sensations is truly an inspiration.Hoe can scraps turn into so beautiful pieces.
Glad you got some fun time in!
Your strings look so manageable in your little Lands' End tote. Mine are threatening to take over my sewing corner on their way to world domination! Hope you had time to get some sewing done.
Thanks for the shout out Kim! I just love that quilt made out of Hometown... and that club is going to be so fun!
Can't wait to see what your making!
You're a tease, Miss Kim. Looking forward to seeing what magic you work with the strips and triangles.
I can't wait to see what you are doing :-) That bag of strips looks like such fun!
