Couldn't Resist Any Longer

I really tried.  For several weeks.  Even after seeing this post.  And this one.  And this one.  Oh, and this one.  And a hundred others.  I'm sure I need some sort of therapy.  If you'd like more details about the Farmer's Wife Quilt-A-Long, visit Amanda and Angela who are hosting this wonderful quilt-along.

Oh, and one more thing!  The winner of a copy of Scrap-Basket Sensations is Kathie.  Congratulations!  If you'll send me your mailing address, the book will be on its way.   And if you entered the drawing at The Fat Quarter Shop, hurry on over to see if you won a copy there.  Thank you all for playing along.

Hope I run into you at the Farmer's Wife Quilt-A-Long!

Kim

I caved as well! I have just ordered my book as well as the companion EQ cd and I am eagerly awaiting their arrival. I have decided to do mine out of my older fabrics and scraps - much the same as a Farmer's Wife would have done all those years ago. I have joined the Farmer's wife Flickr and Yahoo groups and just love all the fuss being made about this really inspirational quilt.

funny.......you just had to think about it long enough.....

congrats to the winner.

I caved last week, too. Although I am not officially joining as I know this is a better winter project for me. I am going to use old Thimbleberries, Kansas Troubles, and scraps, and have started pulling what I want to use.

I'm wavering--I'm tempted--I'm getting weak. I know which fabrics I'd use, and I've owned the book for a while. For now I'll just watch your progress, but I'm soooooo tempted.

You must be mad! But the fabrics you've chosen are wonderful. I'll look forward to enjoying seeing them become blocks and then a quilt.

Sometimes it's just too hard to resist. Beautiful fabric. I'm a bystander, watching everyone make pretty blocks. :o)

So tempted to participate! I saw the book in a shop yesterday and nearly caved in and bought it. I clicked on your links and was amazed at the gal who made a binder of her templates for the blocks. Talk about organized!

I'm soooo glad you're doing the QAL -- you'll love it! And thanks so much for linking one of my FWQAL posts...I'm really flattered :)

I've had the book for a good while, I just can't decide on the fabric. I already am making the Civil War blocks on Barbara Brackman's blog with my CW scraps. I'm not sure I want to make another with CW. But if I don't use them, what will I use? THAT is why I haven't started yet. So I set it aside again. :(

I've debated about jumping into this one since the book came out. Can't wait to see yours.
